Community discussions determine our next material to be produced, localised, or adapted, as well as the next theme for our workshops. Our groups consist of queer-affirming parents, educators, therapists, activists, and activists of all kinds across Asia.
Our goal is to facilitate knowledge exchange between caretakers for the well-being of trans and queer children across Asia. You may opt to use pseudonyms and take whatever safety precautions you may need.
We understand how tough caretaking for queer minors in an unkind world can be. Members have access to regular online and offline retreats and workshops for the following topics:
• Digital hygiene, privacy, and security
• Disability-informed intersectional healing and collective care
• Conversational skills for difficult situations and potential confrontations
The workshops are geared not only towards the well-being of its participants, but also to impart skills and knowledge for the participants to be further taught to their communities—as well as, most importantly, to be applied with the children they are working with.
